Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning
Recap previous knowledge about CLIMATE CHANGE. Quick brainstorm: What do you already know about CLIMATE CHANGE? Introduction to today's objectives regarding CLIMATE CHANGE. Mental drill or quick quiz related to CLIMATE CHANGE.
Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
Discuss and explore activities harmful to the environment, such as bush burning and rubbish burning, and their personal health impacts. Explain the role of fossil fuels in contributing to global warming and changing weather patterns. Examine recent weather changes in farming communities and land erosion issues in ocean-side fishing communities. Conduct assessments where learners explain harmful human activities to the environment.
Phase 3plenary / reflections
