Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning
Recap previous knowledge about Substance Abuse. Quick brainstorm: What do you already know about Substance Abuse? Introduction to today's objectives regarding Substance Abuse. Mental drill or quick quiz related to Substance Abuse.
Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
Display and discuss images showing the effects of substance abuse, encouraging students to identify and explain them. Facilitate group discussions and presentations on controlling substance abuse and defensive strategies. Guide students in creating informative posters highlighting the importance of avoiding substance abuse. Evaluate understanding through discussions on reasons for drug abuse and effective defensive skills.
Phase 3plenary / reflections
