Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning
Recap previous knowledge about Council. Quick brainstorm: What do you already know about Council? Introduction to today's objectives regarding Council. Mental drill or quick quiz related to Council.
Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
Introduce and explain 'Operation Feed Yourself' and its impact on agricultural productivity. Discuss the transition from NRC to SMC and the governance implications of 'Unigov'. Highlight and analyze the economic challenges of the late 1970s. Assess understanding through student explanations and discussions on 'Operation Feed Yourself'.
Phase 3plenary / reflections
Summarize what we learned today about Council. Oral assessment: Answer key questions on Council. Learners share one new thing they found out about Council. Check for understanding and wrap up the week on Council.
