Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning
Recap previous knowledge about Creative Expression. Quick brainstorm: What do you already know about Creative Expression? Introduction to today's objectives regarding Creative Expression. Mental drill or quick quiz related to Creative Expression.
Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
Review musical notes and durations from the previous week. Introduce and explain different time signatures. Demonstrate creating rhythmic phrases and guide students in melody creation. Facilitate group performances of student compositions using instruments or voices.
