Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
Demonstrate and practice various texture techniques such as scumbling, smudging, and stippling. Define and explore the concept of 'Value' in art, focusing on the lightness and darkness of colors. Guide students in creating a 'Value Scale' with a range of tones from white to black. Apply value scales to complex forms and discuss the impact of different media on texture.
