Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning
Recap previous knowledge about Design. Quick brainstorm: What do you already know about Design? Introduction to today's objectives regarding Design. Mental drill or quick quiz related to Design.
Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
Demonstrate how to create a detailed presentation drawing and refine sketches into a clear, final design. Instruct students to add notes on materials, color, and specific features to their designs. Discuss the importance of ergonomics for comfort and usability in design. Assist students in finalizing drawings with basic shading to illustrate form.
Phase 3plenary / reflections
Summarize what we learned today about Design. Oral assessment: Answer key questions on Design. Learners share one new thing they found out about Design. Check for understanding and wrap up the week on Design.
