Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning
Recap previous knowledge about the role of the lungs. Quick brainstorm: What do you already know about the role of the lungs? Introduction to today's objectives regarding the role of the lungs. Mental drill or quick quiz related to the role of the lungs.
Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
1. Explain how the lungs excrete carbon dioxide and water vapor. 2. Discuss the structure of the skin: how sweat is produced in glands and exits through pores. 3. Activity: Learners breathe on a mirror to see water vapor (excretion).
