Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning
Recap previous knowledge about Planning. Quick brainstorm: What do you already know about Planning? Introduction to today's objectives regarding Planning. Mental drill or quick quiz related to Planning.
Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
1. Explain that a rhythmic pattern is a sequence of sounds and silences. 2. In groups, learners choose two different sounds (e.g., a drum and a clap). 3. Groups create a 4-beat rhythm and practice it until they are in sync. 4. Performance: Each group performs their rhythmic composition for the class.
Phase 3plenary / reflections
Summarize what we learned today about Planning. Oral assessment: Answer key questions on Planning. Learners share one new thing they found out about Planning. Check for understanding and wrap up the week on Planning.
