Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning

Recap previous knowledge about items. Quick brainstorm: What do you already know about items? Introduction to today's objectives regarding items. Mental drill or quick quiz related to items.

Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment

Teach that names of people and places start with big letters (capital letters). Practice writing names of learners and local towns on the board.

Phase 3plenary / reflections

Summarize what we learned today about items. Oral assessment: Answer key questions on items. Learners share one new thing they found out about items. Check for understanding and wrap up the week on items.
