Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning Start the lesson with a recap of the previous lesson. Allow learners to reflect on what they learnt from the previous lesson and the homework relating to ways of conserving energy. | Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment Concrete-resource task: Set out these resources for each group: Printed Ghanaian family photographs; Family-tree cards; Kente cloth sample. Learners examine the local evidence, locate relevant places where applicable, and use the items in the group analysis below.
