Revise with learners to review their understanding in the previous lesson.

Concrete-resource task: Set out these resources for each group: Bottles of clean and muddy water; Used sachet-water bag; Printed photograph of a polluted local stream. Learners examine the local evidence, locate relevant places where applicable, and use the items in the group analysis below. Brainstorm learners to explain pollution. Engage learners to watch a documentary of polluted water bodies for discussion. Discuss the causes of water pollution, including human, animal and industrial waste.
