Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning Using questions and answers, find out what learners already know about measuring and marking out in the sewing laboratory. | Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment Concrete-resource task: Set out these resources for each group: Measuring cup; Tape measure; Tailor's chalk. Learners inspect and safely handle each item, then use the items in the practical health, food, materials, or workshop task below.
