Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning
Recap previous knowledge about Media. Quick brainstorm: What do you already know about Media? Introduction to today's objectives regarding Media. Mental drill or quick quiz related to Media.
Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
Discuss and demonstrate simple duple, triple, and quadruple time signatures, emphasizing their placement on a music score and clarifying that they are not fractions. Organize students into groups for collaborative tasks, discussions, and practice sessions. Engage students in imitating beat patterns in two, three, and four, followed by group practice with songs. Facilitate presentations and peer assessments to reinforce learning and provide feedback
Phase 3plenary / reflections
Summarize what we learned today about Media. Oral assessment: Answer key questions on Media. Learners share one new thing they found out about Media. Check for understanding and wrap up the week on Media.
