Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning Revise with learners on the previous lesson. Let learners answer few questions to review their understanding on the topic | Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment Concrete-resource task: Set out these resources for each group: Safety goggles; Work gloves; Dust mask. Learners inspect and safely handle each item, then use the items in the practical health, food, materials, or workshop task below.
Brainstorm learners to explain what is meant by accidents. E.g., Accidents in the workshops are injuries that occur in the workshop/site or laboratory unexpectedly.
Guide learners to discuss the types of accidents that occur in the workshop. E.g., Falls, Cuts, Bruises and Explosions
