Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning Review learners understanding in the previous lesson using questions and answers Engage learners to play games and sing songs to begin the lesson. | Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment Help learners (in groups) to explain modes of worship: charity, prayer, song ministration, evangelism, etc.
Let learners give reasons why we worship: humankind is under the authority of the Creator, we demonstrate that we depend on God for survival, etc.
Through questions and answers, assist learners to talk about the importance of worship: to get blessings from God, to get closer to God, etc.
Have children show how they pray.
For this activity, learners use Bible and Qur’an, prayer mat and printed photographs of traditional Ghanaian worship to compare visible items and practices connected with the three main religious traditions in Ghana. | Phase 3plenary / reflections Ask learners series of questions to review their understanding of the lesson
