Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning Get a viral picture, a trending news on twitter, Facebook, YouTube and other social media handles.
Discuss what is trending and invite learners to share their opinions on them. | Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment Display a portable radio and discuss how sound is received as an output. Learners identify whether the available example uses analogue tuning or digital controls.
Learners observe a computer monitor and speaker and explain how each provides visual or audio output from a computer. The teacher demonstrates them safely where power is available.
Groups inspect a basic mobile phone with analogue-digital label cards and classify the phone and other pictured devices.
