Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning Tell learners stories about creation. Teacher paste a chart on the board showing pictures of human beings, animals and plants. Learners to observe and talk about the pictures. Have learners to talk about how different they are from other creatures | Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment Learners use a hand mirror to observe visible human features such as eyes, hands and facial expressions. Discuss human abilities such as speaking, reasoning, making choices and caring for other living things without claiming that physical differences determine a person’s value.
Groups examine printed photographs of Ghanaian people with local animals and plants. They identify observable similarities and differences and discuss how people depend on and care for other creatures.
