Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning Begin with a storytelling circle where students share a favorite story and discuss its beginning, middle, and end.
Introduce a simple picture book and ask students to predict the story based on the cover.
Conduct a quick warm-up activity where students describe themselves using three adjectives. | Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment Oral Language:
Engage students in a guided conversation on a familiar topic and encourage them to express their ideas clearly.
Organize a role-play activity where students present a short dialogue or scene based on a familiar story.
Reading:
Guide students through a shared reading activity, highlighting the beginning, middle, and end of the story.
Introduce a simple story map exercise where students identify and label the parts of a story.
Writing:
Prompt students to write a short paragraph describing themselves using simple sentences.
Provide a picture prompt and ask students to write descriptive sentences about it.
