Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning Review the main ideas and skills learners have practised so far in English Language. Introduce the project or application task for the week. | Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment Learners sort and discuss the printed English review cards, record personal learning targets in their exercise books with pencils, and share targets while the teacher groups them on the chalkboard with chalk.
Using word and sentence cards, organize learners in pairs or groups to carry out language project work through speaking, reading, writing, grammar, and presentation activities. Guide them to plan, create, solve, investigate, practise, or present a task using knowledge from the term. Move around to support groups, ask probing questions, and help learners improve their work. | Phase 3plenary / reflections Let groups present or explain their work briefly.
