Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning Review learners understanding in the previous lesson using questions and answers Engage learners to play games and sing songs to begin the lesson. | Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment Learners inspect sealed local water samples in clear bottles without opening or tasting them. They note visible differences and explain that appearance alone cannot confirm drinking-water safety.
Groups study printed photographs of local water and air pollution including galamsey runoff, choked drains, smoke, vehicle exhaust and bush burning. They identify the pollutant, source and likely effect in each photograph.
Learners complete manila pollution concept-map sheets with separate causes and prevention actions for water and air pollution. Groups present one realistic community action. | Phase 3plenary / reflections Ask learners series of questions to review their understanding of the lesson
