Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning Begin with a brief pronunciation exercise focusing on inversion questions. Listen to a short story and identify inversion questions used. Practice forming inversion questions in pairs. Discuss the importance of intonation in expressing different types of questions. | Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment Oral Language:
Engage students in a role-play activity where they ask and answer inversion questions to practice pronunciation and intonation.
Conduct a listening exercise with audio clips containing inversion questions, and have students repeat them aloud.
Reading:
