Introduction
During the day we do not need a lamp. The sun gives us light. At night we use torches and lamps to see.
1. Sources of Light
Source of light: Something that gives out light.
The sun is the main source of light for the Earth.
Other sources of light are made by people.

2. Why We Need Light
- Light helps us to see.
- Plants need sunlight to make food.
- Sunlight helps to dry our clothes.
