Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning
Recap previous knowledge about a performance. Quick brainstorm: What do you already know about a performance? Introduction to today's objectives regarding a performance. Mental drill or quick quiz related to a performance.
Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
1. Watch/Recall the performance from Week 6. 2. Use a 'Start, Stop, Continue' chart: What should we start doing? (e.g., speaking louder). What should we stop? (e.g., giggling). What was good and should continue? 3. Learners write a short 'Actor's Journal' entry about how they felt on stage.
Phase 3plenary / reflections
Summarize what we learned today about a performance. Oral assessment: Answer key questions on a performance. Learners share one new thing they found out about a performance. Check for understanding and wrap up the week on a performance.
