Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning
Recap previous knowledge about people with power. Quick brainstorm: What do you already know about people with power? Introduction to today's objectives regarding people with power. Mental drill or quick quiz related to people with power.
Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
Discuss and identify authority figures at home, school, community, and nation. Provide examples of individuals who hold authority in various roles. Conduct assessments to identify authority figures in different settings. Engage students in discussions to deepen understanding of authority roles.
Phase 3plenary / reflections
Summarize what we learned today about people with power. Oral assessment: Answer key questions on people with power. Learners share one new thing they found out about people with power. Check for understanding and wrap up the week on people with power.
