Accra Academy is an all-boys senior high school in Bubuashie, near Kaneshie, in Accra. Founded on 20 July 1931 by Dr. Kofi George Konuah, Gottfried Narku Alema, James Akwei Halm-Addo, and Samuel Neils Awuletey, it was Ghana's first privately-established secondary school and began with just 19 students. It became a Government-Assisted School in 1950 and relocated to its current 37-acre Bubuashie site in 1961. It is nicknamed 'Little Legon' for its academic reputation.
