In this topic you will write letters clearly, boldly and the right size.

By the end of these notes you should be able to:

  • Write letters the right size on lines

Introduction

Your teacher must be able to read your writing easily. Clear, bold letters are easy to read.

1. Good Handwriting

  • Sit up straight with feet flat.
  • Hold the pencil lightly but firmly.
  • Start each letter at the right point.
  • Press firmly so letters are bold, not faint.
