Phase 1: Starterpreparing the brain for learning
Ask learners: What would you do if you were a millionaire? Listen to pupils’ answers.
Phase 2: Mainnew learning including assessment
Read the printed Ghanaian story or dialogue aloud once while learners listen for its purpose and main idea. Read it again and let groups arrange the printed story-sequence cards to show the key information and supporting details. Learners record a concise restatement in exercise books with pencils and compare answers with evidence from the text.

Use peer discussion and effective questioning to find out from learners what they have learnt during the lesson. Take feedback from learners and summarize the lesson.
